Merry Christmas!

We’ve now been out of the house and living as hobos for a week. It took a total of 106 boxes to pack our crate for storage before shipping to NZ in October. All in all a smooth move out of the house and into the van….though we haven’t seen William since then….
The hospitality of our friends and family over the past week has been absolutely fabulous – from Shaun and Charlotte who took in three disheveled and chaotic house packers, to Nikee who hosted a sleep-over for William, Noah and Jake which allowed us to escape in the van to The Three Horseshoes carpark for our 5th anniversary and Nic and Russ’s lovely meal and flat driveway on Saturday! Thank you all!
Following a wild stormy night on the 23rd (80 mile an hour winds were slightly nerve wracking in the van and all the trees down the next day proved we were right to be nervous) we arrived unscathed to a very wet Tonbridge , and a wonderful Christmas has been spent with Sue, Rob, Mia and Charlotte. With bellies full of turkey and all the trimmings (Sue excelled herself as always), Deane is now perfecting the sofa snooze! I don’t think I could eat another thing…..well….maybe I’ll just head for that cheeseboard one more time.
Now..looking forward to the Ross-Dreher Christmas on the 27th.
Wow, you’ve been working hard! When do you actually leave the uk? Hope Xmas was good, I heard tonbridge had the floods really bad! X
